Tuqo + Stripe
Stripe lets you take payments right from a static site with no server of your own: Payment Links (just a link), Buy Button and Pricing Table (embeddable blocks) work with the public publishable key. Suitable for taking payments from an international audience.
What Tuqo + Stripe gives you
- Payment Links: pay by link, no code at all
- Buy Button and Pricing Table: embeddable payment blocks
- One-time payments and subscriptions
- No backend for the basic scenarios
Create a product in Stripe
In the Stripe dashboard, create a product and a price, then generate a Payment Link or a Buy Button.
Put the block on the site
A Payment Link is an ordinary link or button; Buy Button and Pricing Table are embed snippets with the publishable key.
Deploy to Tuqo
The pay button works right from the static site; the payment happens on Stripe's side.
Server side only if needed
A custom Checkout and webhooks need a server (Stripe functions or an edge function). Basic payments do not.
<!-- Buy Button: the publishable key is public -->
<script async src="https://js.stripe.com/v3/buy-button.js"></script>
<stripe-buy-button
buy-button-id="buy_btn_..."
publishable-key="pk_live_...">
</stripe-buy-button> Security
The publishable key is public; the secret key belongs ONLY on a server. On a static site, use Payment Links, Buy Button or Pricing Table (no backend). A custom Checkout and webhook handling need server code.
Tuqo serves the front end over HTTPS and never touches your data or the service's secrets.
Tuqo + Stripe — frequently asked questions
Can I take payments without a backend? +
Yes: Payment Links, Buy Button and Pricing Table work with the publishable key right from the browser. Server code is needed only for custom flows and webhooks.
Do Russian cards work? +
No. Stripe is built for international payments and does not support Russian businesses or cards. To take payments from customers in Russia you need a local provider: see the “Payments in Russia” integration.
Where do I keep the secret key? +
Never in a static site. Only on a server, for example in an edge or server function for webhooks.
