Member sign-up on a static site — no server, no backend of your own
No lists — visitors sign up themselves. A person enters their email, confirms it with a code from an email, gives their name on first sign-in (if you ask) and accepts your terms — and they are in. Signing up and signing in are the same action: there are no passwords, so there is nothing to lose.
In the panel, it's the Visibility tab on the site page.
How to turn it on
Add documents for visitors
Up to three of your own documents — terms of sale, privacy policy, rules. Visitors accept them when signing up. You can also skip your own: consent to Tuqo's terms for visitors is always built in.
Turn on Member sign-up mode
The Visibility tab on the site page. Included from the Pro plan, or with the Members add-on for 299 ₽/mo.
Set up the form
Access conditions: number of seats, whether to ask for a name (first name or full name), request moderation. Settings: how consent is recorded — a button or checkboxes, the form's look, documents.
Send the link
Visitors sign up on their own. Requests, members, bans and the log are in the Visibility tab.
When it fits. When you can't collect the audience into a list in advance: an open course, a community, a club, members-only materials where people come on their own. Want to filter at the door? Turn on request moderation.
What the visitor sees
The site address doesn't change — only what a person without a pass sees does.
Opens the link
Sees your login screen: logo, favicon, description and a single field — email.
Confirms the address with a code
A six-digit code arrives by email on behalf of your site and is valid for ten minutes. No password to invent.
Introduces themselves and agrees
On first sign-in: a name (if you ask for one) and consent to your documents. A returning member skips this step.
Gets in — or waits for approval
Without moderation, access opens right away. With moderation, they see a “Request sent” screen with a Refresh button: once you approve, the person gets in without signing in again, and an email with a link arrives as well.

Member sign-up: frequently asked questions
How is this different from Email code? +
Direction. Email code lets in people from a list you maintain: anyone not on it can't get in. Member sign-up lets in everyone who signs up on their own (or passes your moderation): there is no list upfront. The sign-in mechanics are the same — a code from an email.
Does a visitor need to create a password? +
No. This mode has no passwords at all: the address is confirmed with an email code, and returning sign-ins work the same way. Signing up and signing in are indistinguishable.
Do I have to upload my own documents? +
No. Your own documents (up to three: terms of sale, privacy policy, rules) are optional; without them, visitors accept only Tuqo's terms for visitors. Checkboxes are never pre-ticked — that is a legal requirement.
How does moderation work? +
Once the address is confirmed, the request comes to you: a notification in the panel, by email and in your linked messenger. Approve it and the member gets an email saying access is open. A declined person finds out only on the login screen — nobody gets extra emails.
What does the owner see about members? +
Email, name (if you asked for it), sign-up and last sign-in time, status and a consent snapshot. Plus a private note for yourself. You can delete a member's data at any time — a ban still holds, kept as an irreversible pseudonym of the address.
Can I limit the number of members? +
Yes, with a seat limit. The login screen shows how many are left (“Seats left: 4 of 30”); at zero, new sign-ups close, but existing members sign in as before.
Is the site protected from mass fake sign-ups? +
Yes: codes can't go out more often than the daily email limits per site and per address allow, guessing attempts burn the code, and moderation plus the seat limit give you the final say.
